SIR ISAAC NEWTON'S LUNCH

Sir isaac Newton was one of the greatest scientists who ever lived, but Newton was very absent-minded about small matters when Newton was thinking about work. 

Newton was particularly forgetful about eating whenever Newton was busy with scientific problems.

       One day, a friend who was visiting Newton and who knew Newton habits and about Newton's forgetfulness and Newton's neglect of Newton's meals noticed that Newton's lunch had been waiting on the table for a long time without Newton doing anything about the lunch.

The friend decided to play a practical joke on Newton and perhaps teach Newton a lesson that Newton might remember in future.

The friend quietly went to the table, ate Newton's lunch of chicken, put the chicken bones back in the dish, covered up the dish and left the dish on the table.

   After some time, Newton finished solving the problem Newton was working on, and at last Newton remembered that Newton was hungry. So Newton went to the table to eat. When Newton uncovered the dish, however, Newton saw that the dish contained nothing but bones. 

'Oh, Newton said to Newton, 'Newton must have eaten Newton's lunch.

 Newton had completely forgotten.

Newton wonders why Newton still feels so hungry. Newton supposes Newton will have to wait until suppertime.' 

And Newton quietly replaced the dish cover and went back work.
